PRIME PROPERTY PURCHASED: 6.4 Acres Near Port Everglades
The Heart of The Marine District
A partnership led by Fort Lauderdale real estate agent Kelly Drum has purchased a 6.4-acre site and 73,000-square-foot building located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale's desirable marine district for $25 million. While the property presently houses The Art Institute, the sale involves only the property, not the school itself.
The site sits just east of The Boathouse, a concrete structure with six interior boat slips, which a group including Drum bought in several years ago. The group paid $11.2 million for The Boathouse, which also has two exterior slips. To learn more about this development, read these news reprints.
